Atlanta native Dexter Morton wasn't always a stargazer on a mission to crack the cosmic code. He started with a heart set on microscopes, dreaming of a scientist's life exploring the world of atoms and molecules. But childhood depression cast a long shadow, and the 2008 recession's bite forced him to trade lab coats for Home Depot uniforms.
Just when despair threatened to engulf him, Dexter took a daring leap, joining the military as a laboratory technologist at 21. In that unexpected step, he found more than acceptance - he found family. The service nurtured his leadership, built his confidence, and planted the seeds of a self he could finally believe in.
But the scientist's spirit wouldn't rest. After five years, Dexter packed his bags for Phoenix, Arizona, determined to finish his biochemistry degree. Juggling studies and lab work, he embarked on a new journey – exploring the hidden realms of metaphysics, philosophy, and spirituality.
