Sex in the Kitchen - Open Bedroom Doors Special Episode

This special edition of Sex in the Kitchen brings together playful education, real-life intimacy, and behind-the-scenes excitement as we spotlight the upcoming Valentine’s Day event, “Dinner with a Sex Therapist,” happening February 14, 2026, from 5–8pm at Adventure Unknown in Fenton, Missouri. The episode originally partnered with celebrity chef Terri Jayne from Fox 2 News to help promote the event. While Terri ultimately had to withdraw as the event’s chef, we celebrate the pivot—because a new, equally exciting chef will be creating a thoughtfully designed aphrodisiac-inspired menu for the live experience.

In this episode, we take intimacy out of the bedroom and into one of the most common gathering places in daily life: the kitchen. With clothes on and judgments off, we demonstrate actual, non-graphic sex positions adapted for kitchen spaces, offering viewers a playful and practical way to rethink intimacy as something woven into everyday moments. The focus is on creativity, consent, connection, and how couples can bring curiosity and closeness into ordinary routines without pressure or perfection.

Beyond positions and playfulness, the episode opens up broader conversations about desire, communication, and erotic diversity. We explore topics relevant to people curious about kink, alternative lifestyles, and fetishes, normalizing open dialogue and emphasizing emotional safety, boundaries, and self-awareness. These discussions are educational, affirming, and grounded in real therapeutic insight—inviting viewers to expand their understanding of intimacy in ways that feel authentic to them.

The episode wraps with clips from previous shows, celebrating how far the series has come. With 21 episodes aired and a growing audience, Sex in the Kitchen continues to evolve as a bold, informative, and approachable platform for conversations about sex, relationships, and connection. This special edition captures the heart of the series: making intimacy accessible, playful, and deeply human—whether it’s in the kitchen, at the table, or during a memorable Valentine’s Day dinner designed to spark connection long after the plates are cleared.
