As we all need to influence other people in our lives for success at job interviews, to get a promotion, or to get clients, customers and sales in a business. We should also be influencing other people in relationships when we create connections and establish rapport. Nick has always been passionate about raising awareness around social care and mental health issues and has been part of the Mental Health Warriors team, appearing weekly on their MHWs TV show to discuss topical mental health issues with guests. Nick has himself had his journey from a shy social introvert, who was bullied at school after being diagnosed as dyspraxic. He has gone through anxiety and depression at several points in his life and experienced financial challenges and homelessness during the Covid pandemic.
Over the ten years of being a member of the international not-for-profit public speaking and leadership organisation, he has given over a hundred speeches and not only been the President of his club but also an Area Director, Division Director and now coaches a struggling club. He has personal mentored many members of his club to gain confidence and skills as part of their own public speaking journey. This has lead to him creating the Confident Mindset Club with coaching and events to help people develop confidence and resilience skills.
Nick is a member of an acting group called the Bare Bones Drama group and has his own IMDB page because of his work in various film projects. He has recently started doing stand up comedy as he truly believes that laughter is one of the best forms of self care possible and humour is a great way to connect with other people.
