S2; E25 Tim and Christina Martin
This week’s episode will feature Tim and Christina Martin! Tim is an Army Major. Originally from Oklahoma, he enlisted in the Army in 1998 as an infantryman before being accepted to West Point and graduating in 2003 as a Second Lieutenant. Tim served as an armor officer with two deployments to Iraq as both a Platoon Leader and Company Commander. He switched over to become an FA57 Simulations Operations Officer where he worked to improve staff collaboration and operations through training simulations and improving collaborative processes. Tim will be retiring from the Army in the next 1-2 years. He also has two master's degrees (MBA and M.S in Modeling and Simulations). Christina is a professional photographer and former Army brat who, as a single mom, raised her nephew while growing and running her own photography business. Over the past 20 years, she has been published in several magazines and newspapers such as Readers Digest, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, and The Knot. She recently met and married her husband, Tim, and they have been working on blending families, preparing for Tim’s retirement from the Army, and planning the future direction of their family’s business.
