Ashley challenges academia, clinicians, and all healers to shift the paradigm and heal themselves. She discusses some of her challenges along the way and those she still struggles with today. Ashley Rodriguez is an integrative trauma specializing practitioner who works with Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) individuals and couples, including veterans and first responders, navigate complex trauma while learning to understand the multifaceted, unique components of self-healing. Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) in Colorado and Wyoming (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). While serving in the United States Air Force, Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University. Following her departure from the military, Ashley received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. Following her Master's Degree, Ashley went on to complete EMDR training and receive her certification as a Reiki III Practitioner.
