On Onion Soup, Dexter interviews Carolyn Wilman, known as the “Contest Queen,” about how mindset, intuition, and manifestation shaped her path. Carolyn shares her marketing career in the IT industry, losing her job in the dot-com bubble, and discovering sweepstakes after reading a Reader’s Digest article, then building systems that helped her win and write books. She explains how a church sign—“You can’t lose helping others win”—confirmed her decision to share her secrets, and reflects on ripple effects, catalysts, and overcoming imposter syndrome. Carolyn describes learning to trust intuitive guidance through personal stories, including dating after divorce and an ignored intuitive nudge in college. She discusses preserving Helene Haze(l)’s legacy, how modern sweepstakes are a volume-and-organization game, and why manifestation can be instant or take years with deep inner work.

Are you “chill”… or emotionally checked out?
Are you “all in”… or secretly spiraling when they don’t text back?
Or are you finally at a place where love feels safe—without losing yourself?
In this episode of Girl Talk Mental Health (GTMH), host Virginia Dale Manning, LPC, sits down with Special Guest Martha Burich, MEd to break down attachment styles in a way that hits real life—anxious, avoidant, and secure—and what those patterns are really trying to protect.
If you’ve ever:
• overthinked a “k.” text like it was a breakup,
• felt your chest tighten when someone gets too close,
• ghosted emotionally while staying physically present,
• chased connection with people who always feel “just out of reach,”
…this episode is going to feel like someone finally turned the lights on.
We’re unpacking:
• how attachment forms (and why it’s not your fault),
• the difference between anxious attachment and “I just love hard,”
• the truth behind avoidant attachment and “I’m independent,”
• what secure attachment actually looks like (and how to build it),
• and practical steps to stop repeating relationship cycles that drain you.
Because you don’t need another “just communicate” lecture.
You need clarity. Tools. Healing. And a new pattern.
✅ Watch to the end—we’re giving you a quick self-check you can use this week to spot your attachment triggers in real time.
Subscribe to Girl Talk Mental Health for weekly conversations that help strong people stop silently struggling—without shame and without fluff.

What if your anxiety isn’t “random”… and it’s not just your workload, hormones, or overthinking?
What if your body is reacting to something your heart keeps trying to minimize?
In this episode of Girl Talk Mental Health (GTMH), host Virginia Dale Manning, LPC-S sits down with special guest Rabeea Baloch, LPC to unpack the hidden relationship dynamics that quietly keep your nervous system on high alert.
We’re talking about the signs most strong women miss—because you’re loyal, capable, forgiving… and used to pushing through discomfort. But your body doesn’t “push through.” It pays attention.
If you’re constantly second-guessing yourself, replaying conversations at 2AM, or feeling that tight chest sensation when their name pops up on your phone—this conversation may explain why.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
• The subtle relationship patterns that create chronic anxiety (even without obvious conflict)
• How walking on eggshells affects your brain and body over time
• Why you feel exhausted after “simple” conversations
• Practical ways to protect your peace without guilt, drama, or going numb
If you’ve ever thought:
• “Maybe I’m just too sensitive.”
• “I don’t want to start over.”
• “They’re not that bad… so why do I feel so anxious?”
You’re not crazy. You’re not weak. Your anxiety might be information.
💛 Watch until the end—we share a simple self-check you can use this week to assess whether your relationship is calming your system… or quietly keeping it in survival mode.
Subscribe to GTMH so you don’t have to keep carrying this alone—especially if you’re the friend who’s always “the strong one.”

This Tuesday at 7PM Central, join us live on Chronic Health Collective for an episode that’s for anyone who’s ever whispered, “I don’t think I can date again… I keep attracting the same kind of person.”
Host Kristy Boyd Johnson sits down with Life & Dating Coach Leandra Frey for a powerful conversation on:
Dating After Narcissism
If you’ve experienced love-bombing, boundary pushing, emotional rollercoasters, or that exhausting cycle of questioning your own worth—this isn’t just a “dating talk.” This is about rebuilding your sense of self and learning how to choose peace without apologizing for it.
In this episode, we’ll unpack:
Why boundaries are the real protection (and how to actually keep them)
How to spot red flags early—without living in fear
How to tell the difference between healthy calm and “this feels boring” after chaos
The most empowering sentence in dating: “I’m not your person… and you’re not mine.”
You don’t have to go it alone. Your healing can be real. Your future relationships can be safe. And your next chapter can be better than your last.

In this powerful episode of Lead Empowered TV, we sit down with Troy Karnes, to unpack a story of success, collapse, and rebuilding from the inside out.
From helping grow one of the most influential craft distilleries in the country to a $186M exit, Troy lived the high-performance, high-indulgence lifestyle to the fullest. But behind the accolades was a growing addiction that ultimately cost him his place at home. After checking himself into rehab, he was hit with another life-altering diagnosis — a rare cancer that required the removal of his shoulder blade and a titanium replacement.
What followed wasn’t a miracle cure or overnight transformation.
It was systems. Discipline. Clarity. And the long, unglamorous work of staying sober, staying sane, and choosing growth one day at a time.
In this conversation, we explore:
Why quick fixes fail leaders
The power of systems over motivation
Building resilience through structure
What his book teaches about sustainable success
If you’re a leader tired of hype and ready to build something that lasts — this episode is for you.
The marketplace is noisy.
AI is reshaping industries.
Attention spans are shrinking.
If you cannot communicate your value with clarity and conviction, you will be overlooked.
This is a conversation about positioning in a time of disruption.
LaWanna Bradford sits down with Dr. Forbes Riley — internationally known as the Queen of the Perfect Pitch.

Multiple campaigns under her leadership have each exceeded $100 million in revenue. She doesn’t just talk about pitching — she converts at scale.
If you are building, pivoting, scaling, or seeking greater influence — this is your opportunity to sharpen your message.
Because in this market, clarity is competitive advantage.
