A teacher at heart, she found a holistic school where children were taught yoga twice a day. In addition to teaching, she became certified as a yoga teach instructor. She then began leading yoga retreats all over the world. Then, with 4 young children, Buffie and her partner left the US and moved to Costa Rica. She followed the hummingbird and found where she was supposed to be. It took courage, trusting her instincts, and her path of self-discovery, to "make a new table for women." She continued to discover new conversations for women, leading her to bring awareness about our month long cycle. She began to embrace this part of her, releasing shame, and recognizing that women together are stronger. She has created "Winter Moon Wellness" which provides a virtual sacred space for women.
