About: Dr. Keith McNally
Dr. Keith McNally specializes in facilitating discussions by bringing like-minded people together to create real impact. He is the creator of Walking the Path and the host of Trail to Transformation, a podcast for Veterans by Veterans. As a Mental Health advocate, his mission is to bring help, hope, and healing to veterans impacted by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Major Depressive Symptoms, and Suicide Ideation. The path to suicide is lonely and overwhelming. Dr. K knows this; he’s been there. Through intention and tribe, he has overcome. He shares this powerful message of motivation to veterans and their families.
Dr. McNally is the survivor of five suicide attempts. Between 1996 and 2021, Dr. K faced mental, social, and personal challenges that created chaos and uncertainty. Through a direct effort to create new friendships, support systems, and develop a new approach to life, Dr. K is alive and well today. Having spoken at Columbia University on how to overcome your fears and how to walk a new path in life, Dr. K offers these same insights to veterans facing equally difficult situations.
The Trail to Transformation campaign is Dr. McNally’s pursuit of the almost-impossible task of a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, a 2,193-mile trek from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Katahdin, Maine. As a disabled veteran, Dr. K wants to be a motivational example that if he can do something impactful, so can you. Launch date set for March 15, 2026.
