What happens when you stop hiding your story and start owning it?
In this deeply personal episode of Trail to Transformation, host Dr. Keith McNally and co-host Laura Cross pull back the curtain on their own journeys of healing, growth, and transformation.
Dr. Keith shares how vulnerability, meaningful conversations, and community helped him move from isolation and multiple suicide attempts to building a mission-driven foundation to help veterans rediscover purpose and belonging. Laura opens up about overcoming shyness, releasing the need for approval, and creating judgment-free spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
This powerful conversation is a reminder that your challenges do not define you—they can become the very foundation of your purpose.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your story matters, this episode will show you that your greatest struggles may be preparing you to impact more lives than you ever imagined.
Tune in to Trail to Transformation with Dr. Keith McNally and Laura Cross on Wednesday at 7 PM EST on E360TV.

Dr. Keith McNally specializes in facilitating discussions by bringing like-minded people together to create real impact. He is the creator of Walking the Path and the host of Trail to Transformation, a podcast for Veterans by Veterans. As a Mental Health advocate, his mission is to bring help, hope, and healing to veterans impacted by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Major Depressive Symptoms, and Suicide Ideation. The path to suicide is lonely and overwhelming. Dr. K knows this; he’s been there. Through intention and tribe, he has overcome. He shares this powerful message of motivation to veterans and their families.
Dr. McNally is the survivor of five suicide attempts. Between 1996 and 2021, Dr. K faced mental, social, and personal challenges that created chaos and uncertainty. Through a direct effort to create new friendships, support systems, and develop a new approach to life, Dr. K is alive and well today.
The Trail to Transformation campaign is Dr. McNally’s pursuit of the almost-impossible task of a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail, a 2,193-mile trek from Springer Mountain, Georgia to Katahdin, Maine. As a disabled veteran, Dr. K wants to be a motivational example that if he can do something impactful, so can you.
