About: Jennifer Keeling
Jennifer Keeling has more than 20 years of experience supporting military families. Her journey began as a military spouse and later as a military suicide loss survivor. For the past twelve years, she has dedicated her professional career to serving and supporting military families who have lost a loved one who served in the military, specifically to suicide.
In her role as Suicide Postvention Program Senior Coordinator at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Jennifer served as a subject matter expert in suicide postvention. She helped develop survivor-informed programming and provided support to more than 1,000 military suicide loss survivors.
Jennifer currently serves as the Director of Retention and Recruitment at the Returning Veterans Project. Her professional work reflects a deep commitment to reducing military suicide and supporting those affected by it. She is certified in suicide prevention through ASIST, is a certified psychological autopsy investigator, and holds certifications in PTSD: Companioning the Traumatized Griever, Crisis Response Planning and Mental Health First Aid. She also has extensive training in peer grief support and trauma informed care.
