QUILTING A LEGACY! While having all that fun -- oh and hard work :-) -- Renée had three children and proudly raised six, by blending families through love, marriage, and partnership. She considers this is, by far, her greatest achievement and feels fortunate that God allowed her to raise these beautiful souls. Now she has a new role as Grandmother (a.k.a. Glam Ma Ma) to four beautiful girls. Along with her Aunt, internationally known Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging expert, 60+ awards-winning law professor, lawyer, author, and quilter, mother of three daughters and two grandchildren, Dawn D. Bennett-Alexander, turns her significant skills and knowledge to exciting cozy mysteries with a twist. Several, in fact! With her life motto of "It's ALL about LOVE..." and her decades of engaging in deep conversations with thousands of students, attendees, and others about diversity and inclusion issues and how they are manifested in real life, Dawn endeavors to have us gain a deep understanding of what that means for us as individuals and also the world, through the vehicle of spell-binding cozy mysteries.
