S3 E1 Kristine Allard- Vice President of Development & Communications, Square One
<p>Kristine Allard joined the Square One team in July of 2015 and serves as the agency’s Vice President of Development & Communications. In this role, Kris oversees donor relations, fundraising, special events, marketing, social media, and public relations.Kris’ past non-profit experience includes her role as Senior Vice President of Development & Chief Operating Officer for the YMCA of Greater Springfield; and Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Northern York County YMCA and Sanford-Springvale YMCA, both located in southern Maine. Prior to her work in the non-profit sector, She was the Director of Communications & Public Relations for Imaj Associates in Providence, Rhode Island, where she supported clients in wide range of industries including education, health care, entertainment and technology. Kris began her career working as a broadcast journalist for several radio and television news stations in New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island.Kris is an active volunteer for the YMCA of Greater Springfield, the Wonderfund of Massachusetts, and Clinical Support Options/Friends of the Homeless. She currently serves on the marketing committee for the Providers' Council, and is a past Board member for Baystate Academy Charter Public School, UNIFY Against Bullying, Dress for Success of Western Massachusetts, Leadership Pioneer Valley, and Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island</p><p> </p>
