S2 EP53 | Finding the Strength to Power Through & Live life Fully | Rebecca (Becky) Faye Smith Galli
I can’t stop crying. My conversation with Becky Galli has truly moved me. In the intro to her second book, Morning Fuel, she writes, “Some would say life has not been kind to me.” At 20, she lost her 17-year-old brother . Two of her four children had special needs . One of her sons passed away at just 15. And at 38, only 9 days after finalizing her divorce, Becky was paralyzed by transverse myelitis, a rare spinal cord inflammation that affects 1 in a million .
How does Becky go on? I often wonder that myself. But after reading her first book, Rethinking Possible, I see her strength . It comes from her family , her upbringing, her friends , her spirituality , her faith , her journaling , and her therapy. Becky inspires us all to live life to the fullest, no matter our circumstances .
Becky shares countless life lessons through her column From Where I Sit, her books , her Thoughtful Thursdays, and in our conversation. She encourages us to "Let Our Love Be Larger"

Note to listeners: There’s an echo in the second half of our conversation when I speak—apologies in advance!
