Both Jeff and Tom are great to talk with and we anticipate making these reunions regular in the coming months. Enjoy the mishaps, casual conversations and poignant moments that Jeff makes with regards to healthcare. Also look at the chemistry that promises to collectively make changes in how Invisible Conditions, Alternative Treatments and Innovative Financial Solutions will support all of you in the future.

Interview with Sherwood (Woodie) Neiss
CARFiling is a purpose-built software platform that streamlines the preparation of annual reports for companies that have raised capital through Regulation Crowdfunding. Through a guided, step-by-step workflow, CARFiling helps issuers efficiently organize, compile, and prepare the information required for their Form C-AR filings.
Designed specifically for issuers, CARFiling is not a law firm or a filing agent—it’s a self-service tool that empowers companies to manage their own compliance process with clarity and confidence. By simplifying complex reporting requirements into an intuitive digital experience, CARFiling enables issuers to stay organized, reduce errors, and meet their regulatory obligations while maintaining full responsibility for their filings.
Sherwood “Woodie” Neiss is a pioneering force in regulated investment crowdfunding and a key architect behind the legislation that transformed startup investing in the United States. As co-author of the Crowdfunding Exemption Framework that became the foundation for Title III of the JOBS Act, he played a central role in legalizing equity crowdfunding—testifying before Congress, collaborating with the SEC, and participating in the White House signing ceremony. Today, Woodie continues to shape the industry as Managing General Partner at D3VC, an AI-driven venture fund, and Principal at Crowdfund Capital Advisors, where he advises governments, institutions, and platforms worldwide on building modern capital markets.
In addition to his policy and investment work, Woodie is a data innovator and thought leader in private market infrastructure. He created CCLEAR, the industry’s most comprehensive dataset tracking Regulation Crowdfunding activity, and co-founded GUARDD, a compliance and disclosure platform designed to bring transparency to private securities markets. A frequent speaker at global forums including TEDx and SXSW, and co-author of Crowdfund Investing for Dummies, he has been widely recognized as one of the most influential voices in crowdfunding. Through his work, Woodie continues to champion a future where capital formation is more transparent, inclusive, and driven by the power of communities.
What if the very symptoms you’ve been told to ignore are actually the key to unlocking your next level of performance?
In this episode of Lead Empowered TV, we sit down with Cynthia Fluck—former U.S. Naval Academy physics graduate and military officer turned holistic health practitioner and founder of Crescent Holistic Health. Cynthia brings a rare blend of scientific precision and whole-body healing to help high-achieving women who feel “off,” even when their labs say otherwise.
We dive into her unconventional journey into entrepreneurship, the hidden cost of chronic workplace stress, and why so many leaders are operating in survival mode without even realizing it. Cynthia unpacks how nervous system dysregulation impacts engagement, decision-making, and overall leadership effectiveness—and what it actually takes to restore balance.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re pushing through while something deeper is being ignored, this conversation will challenge you to stop silencing the signals and start understanding them.
When life hands you impossible odds, you can allow circumstance it to break you or rise like a phoenix. In this powerful episode of Beyond the White Coat, host Gaya Stepanian sits down with Sarah Martin, a woman whose story defies every expectation. Adopted. A young mother. Repeating cycles early just as life was getting started, or did she?
Instead of letting her circumstances define her, Sarah rewrote her destiny, turning pain into purpose and adversity into unstoppable success. In this episode of Beyond the White Coat, you’ll learn more about how Sarah transformed early hardship to fuel her journey as a mother and as an entrepreneur. The mindset shift that helped her break generational patterns, and the acknowledgement and awareness, that she still has healing work to do. The moment she decided to rise instead of repeat What it takes to build a life of meaning when the circumstance defies you Become inspired by her courage and heart
This is more than an interview, it’s a masterclass in resilience, reinvention, and the courage to create the life you deserve. If you’ve ever felt stuck, underestimated, or ready for your own rebirth, Sarah’s story just might light a fire in you. Perhaps it's time to rewrite your own destiny.
What if healing isn’t about getting your old life back…
because let’s be honest...that version had some questionable settings.
Life has a way of hitting “update” without asking.
Suddenly it’s before… and after… and you’re left figuring out what actually matters.
Lisa is joined by holistic therapist and educator Briget O’Leary, who shares the H.E.A.L. Method—a powerful way to reconnect, reset, and rebuild from the inside out.
Because the real win isn’t what your life looks like…
it’s how it feels.
Ready for a better upgrade? Hit play.
You’re breathing… but are you breathing WELL?
This Tuesday on Chronic Health Collective, host Jessica Hammock sits down with special guest Eileen McDonald for a conversation that will make you rethink the thing you do 22,000 times a day without even noticing.
Your breath isn’t just “inhale, exhale, repeat.”
It may be the hidden biofeedback system revealing how your body handles stress, trauma, overwhelm, control, relationships, and even that “why am I so exhausted when my labs look normal?” mystery. Yeah… your breath has been snitching on you. Lovingly, of course.
In this episode, Jessica and Eileen unpack:
Why “just take a deep breath” may not be enough
How stress and trauma can change your breathing patterns
Why carbon dioxide may be the missing piece in healthy breathing
How posture impacts oxygen, regulation, and calm
Why sighing might actually be your body recalibrating
How your breath can affect your reactions, relationships, and resilience
And yes… Eileen can sometimes tell when people are holding their breath.
Not creepy. Just science with excellent observational skills.
If you’ve been feeling tense, reactive, overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or stuck in survival mode, this episode is your invitation to pause, observe, and get curious.
Because your transformation may not start with doing more.
It may start with noticing the breath you already have.

Her professional path includes impactful roles in Houston and Cypress, Texas with

now operates as a telehealth-only service for adults with mental health and
substance use disorders.
Navita began ministry in 2011 by teaching Bible study at Springfield College in
Houston, TX, while engaging in her own academic studies. She later founded a
women’s Bible study group called Persevering Women. In 2021, she answered the

Success can hide a crisis most people never see.
High achievers often look confident, accomplished, and emotionally strong on the outside—but internally, many are quietly battling a deep identity crisis they don’t recognize.
In this powerful episode of Girl Talk Mental Health, host Virginia Dale Manning, LPC-S, Author of Set Apart sits down with special guest LaTreece Ross, LPC to uncover why high performers, leaders, and strong personalities often miss the warning signs that they’ve built their life around achievement instead of identity.
From a biblical standpoint, this conversation explores how success, responsibility, and external validation can slowly disconnect people from the identity God originally designed for them.
Many high achievers unknowingly confuse:
• Productivity with purpose
• Success with identity
• Responsibility with worth
• Approval with calling
And by the time they notice the emotional exhaustion, relationship struggles, or spiritual disconnection—it has already begun affecting their peace.
If you’ve ever felt like your success came at the cost of your peace… this conversation will resonate deeply.

You prayed.
You asked God for clarity.
You said, “This time will be different.”
…But somehow, you still ended up choosing what hurt you.
Again.
This episode of Girl Talk Mental Health (GTMH) Host Virginia Dale Manning, LPC-S breaks the cycle.
Because the truth is—
You weren’t choosing love… you were choosing familiarity.
And familiarity doesn’t always feel like peace—it feels like survival.
You ignored the red flags
You overrode your discernment
You called anxiety “butterflies”
You stayed where your spirit felt restless
And now you’re asking:
“Why does this keep happening to me?”
In this powerful, faith-based mental health training, we unpack:
Why peace feels unfamiliar when you’ve lived in emotional chaos
How trauma rewires your relationship patterns
The difference between chemistry and confirmation
Why God’s voice often sounds like calm… not confusion
How to stop choosing pain disguised as passion
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts…” — Colossians 3:15
Peace isn’t boring.
Peace is safe.
Peace is alignment.
Peace is your sign.
If it costs your peace… it’s too expensive.
If you’ve ever said:
“I’ll subscribe later…”
“I don’t watch YouTube like that…”
“I already know this…”
Let me lovingly challenge you:
If you’re still choosing what hurts you…
you don’t know this at the level you need yet.

There’s a version of you the world celebrates…
The one who holds it all together.
The one everyone leans on.
The one who prays, pushes through, and never falls apart in public.
But what happens when the strong one gets tired?
In this powerful episode of Girl Talk Mental Health (GTMH), host Virginia Dale Manning, LPC-S — The Realist Therapist sits down with special guest Dr. Sherra Watkins to unpack the silent struggle of being the “strong one.”
Because the truth is…
👉 Strength can become a prison
👉 Independence can become isolation
👉 And survival can start to feel like suffocation
If you’ve ever said:
• “I got it” when you didn’t
• “I’m fine” while silently breaking
• “I don’t need help” because you’ve never had it
This conversation is for you.
💔 We’re talking about:
• Why strong people struggle to open up
• The emotional cost of always being the one others depend on
• How trauma, faith, and identity shape your ability to be vulnerable
• What God actually says about carrying everything alone
• How to safely let people in without losing yourself
📖 “Bear one another’s burdens…” — Galatians 6:2
God never called you to carry life alone.
✨ This is your permission to put the weight down.
Before you click off—pause.
If you’ve ever told yourself:
• “I’ll subscribe later…”
• “I don’t watch YouTube like that…”
• “I don’t really need this…”
Let’s be real…
You didn’t find this video by accident.
This is the kind of space where:
✔ You don’t have to perform
✔ You don’t have to pretend
✔ You don’t have to be the strong one all the time
So here’s what to do:
👉 Subscribe now to Girl Talk Mental Health (GTMH)
👉 Turn on notifications so you don’t miss what your healing needs next
👉 Share this with the one friend who is always “okay”… but isn’t

On this week’s episode of The True North Show I am joined by Saras Naidoo, a wonderful and inspiring woman who brings love and joy into everything she speaks about. She shares with us the journey she has been on for so long and how she has finally come home to herself and to the wisdom that has always been within. Saras’s purpose is to be a guide for others and it is very clear in our conversation that she is doing this holistically in the community she has created and in the work she does with her clients. What a joy it was to spend this time with her.
Bio:
Saras Naidoo is a guide, author, and space-holder devoted to helping people return to presence, alignment, and inner clarity.
After retiring from a fulfilling career as a high school educator, where she taught Horticulture and developed experiential learning programs, Saras followed a deeper calling into holistic and energy-based healing.
She is the founder of the Quantum Healing Circle for Women, a global heart-centred community, and the creator of the Chai-Chat series, a collection of 90 soulful reflections that gently guide individuals back to themselves. This work evolved into her book, Chai Chat: A 90-Day Journey into Alignment, Inner Radiance & Self-Care.
Blending her experience as a Master Gardener, Reiki Master, hypnotherapist, and quantum healing practitioner, Saras brings a grounded yet intuitive approach to personal transformation. Her work is rooted in simplicity, nature, and everyday rituals, reminding us that healing doesn’t have to be complicated. Her work is also deeply shaped by her personal journey through cancer alongside her husband, which led her into profound inner healing and transformation.
Through her warm and calming presence, Saras creates spaces where people can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with their inner wisdom.
