John Duffy is a Film Producer, Director, Professor and Transformational Speaker who shares a powerful message of overcoming all odds to succeed in life. John shares his personal story and journey of growing up in the South Bronx, dropping out of High School at age 15 to today when he is a a Hollywood Producer and Film Professor. He inspires other with a message that there is always a solution and that you can overcome all obstacles. John’s journey from “The Bronx to Hollywood” wasn’t a straight path. He worked many jobs including in factories, cab driver, US Post Office Mail Handler, Substitute Teacher, Oral history interviewer, aerobics instructor, salesman, Counselor with runaways in Hollywood, Actor, Film Producer and today Motivational Speaker. He has produced over 35 feature films. He is also very active in veteran support activities in the film industry. One of his career highlights was producing training videos for the US Marine Corp. John also directed two short films “The Flag” which screened at the GI Film Festival and also at the Smithsonian Museum in Wash DC. John has recently given a Film Presentation to 25 Executives and Producers from China Central Television He has give speeches at NASA at the “You Mission Critical Event”, and also at Notre Dame, and gave a Keynote for the Los Angeles Film Schools Salute to Veterans, spoke to Rotary Clubs and women’s groups, He has also spoke at many Military Veterans training events in the film industry in Hollywood.
