Dr. Oliver is a Philadelphia native. He has taught for over 22 years in the Dayton Public School system, Dayton Ohio, as a Naval Science Instructor teaching grades 9th through 12th. DR. Oliver has retired from the United States Marine Corps with over 22 years of service. Dr. Oliver earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology from Park University, Master’s degree in Management from Antioch University, Doctor of Humanities from T.I.U.A and earned certifications in Business & Entrepreneurship, Naval Science and Military Leadership. Dr. Oliver is the author of, “The Journey of an Adolescent”, a perspective look on issues of adolescent that are sometimes ignored. DR. Oliver was a Culture, Abilities, Resilience, and Effort (C.A.R.E.) trainer for Ohio and National Education Association. He has over 30 years of successful management and leadership experience with a reputation for meeting the most challenging organizational goals and objectives. He has re-established organizational structure and roles in organizations using elements and frameworks of organizational behavior, principles of management, and leadership. He established a flexible curriculum that allowed him to explore and implement concepts and theories about organizational culture, transformation, and individual and group behavior. He has taught students to become effective leaders and managers in a virtual training environment; their individual and organizational successes were measured by grades, promotions, and student awards. He has focused on building rapport with parents and students by providing valuable counseling to build a stronger child and parent relationship to aid student’s academic success has impacted student’s grade point averages resulting in students’ acceptance to two- and four-year colleges with full scholarships while earning community and school service awards.
