We’ve just had Diabetes Awareness week and so we open with a speech from Diabetes UK Representative James O’Neill who shares his lived experiences, and we also welcome community leaders Elona Latifi, Lorraine Lewis, Em Allenye & Lissy Malt and fundraiser – Miss Northamptonshire Saffron Corcoran to the studio to learn about the benefits of volunteering and how the media and arts are there to support the community through education, information, entertainment – and ALWAYS raising awareness!
