Guest Bio — Oswald Newbold
Oswald Newbold is a certified mediator and conflict resolution specialist, trained by the National Institute of Mediation Inc. and the Community Mediation Network. His mediation career began in 2008 through a Florida Supreme Court–approved program, where he mediated prisoner disputes to reduce violence and tension—an experience that ignited his passion for helping individuals navigate conflict. Over the years, Oswald has successfully mediated disputes in organizations, communities, workplaces, and housing, maintaining an exceptional 90% success rate.
Today, Oswald is launching a youth and young adult conflict resolution program that trains young people as certified mediators, equipping them to address bullying, harassment, and gang-related issues with confidence and leadership. His mission is to empower the next generation to create systemic change, resolve conflict peacefully, and advocate for justice with courage and clarity.
