Roy Washington was the third youngest of 18 children. At 2 he was put in foster care and lucked out by being adopted by a wonderful couple. . Roy tested his parents by joining a gang and not following their advice, and ended up in a jury trial. This scared Roy enough to send him on a new path.
Roy joined the army where he learned to rap. He has been involved in music his whole life and shares it freely. He is a radio personality, hosts a podcast called Quest Nation, and mentors young people. Roy's messages are "never give up’, "don't feel sorry for yourself," "listen to your gut," and go out and make a difference.
He is proud of his two daughters and wants to positively impact more people.

BIO:
My name is Roy Washington, and I am the third youngest of eighteen children. I was given up and raised in a foster home from the age of two, but I didn't let that stop me. I went on to serve in the military directly from high school and started a music career while in the Army. After a highly successful independent musical journey, I went on to become a youth mentor and popular radio personality in my city. I started the Quest Nation network in 2015, to spotlight, empower and encourage people in our city and all across the world.
