<p>Michael Bugary is a former Division I professional athlete. He played baseball for the University of California, Berkeley, and for the Boston Red Sox organization on their Minor League affiliate. After suffering a career ending arm injury, just before playing in the Major League, Michael fell into depression and developed an opioid addiction. Several years later he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Overcoming these adversities has inspired Michael to share his story in hopes of helping others.
