Biography Tracy L. George, MPH CHES CYT is a Lecturer of Psychology and Health Sciences at the University of North Carolina Asheville, where she teaches courses on health psychology, physical well-being, mindfulness and meditation, and health behavior change. Tracy is also an experienced mindfulness teacher, health educator, and leadership coach with a proven track record of working with individuals, organizations, and educational institutions. She co-created and directed Yale University’s first student wellness center, where she led mindfulness programs and provided coaching to students managing stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Tracy has worked with a wide range of clients, offering tailored workshops and coaching in mindfulness, emotional well-being, and holistic health practices to improve individual and organizational well-being. Tracy is a certified health education specialist (CHES), yoga teacher (CYT), and certified mindfulness instructor with expertise in motivational interviewing, mindful inquiry, and evidence-based mindfulness strategies. She has extensive experience in community health program development and has led wellness initiatives at the university level and in corporate settings. Tracy is available for coaching, professional development workshops, and speaking engagements, specializing in helping organizations foster healthier, more productive environments through mindfulness and well-being practices.
