Do you remember a time when business was conducted person to person, in the days before computers, the internet and email. When bank managers were bank managers? That is when Tony started his career, in the City of London in 1985 and then spent 35 years climbing the corporate ladder for a number of banks and brokerages. As the financial services industry in general and currency exchange in particular started to focus exclusively on tech only business models, Tony saw a gap in the market and launched Cosmos Currency Exchange in 2020. Cosmos offers its clients a unique experience when they need to either make or receive a currency payment in over 35 currencies to and from over 50 countries around the globe. Rather than the transactional, reactive, self-service approach endemic in the finance industry these days, Cosmos provides a bespoke, pro-active relationship-based service where each client is treated like the individual they are. At Cosmos, all its business comes from referrals. Tony thinks that speak volumes. As a result, in a little over 4 years, Cosmos has already won eight industry awards to date. Tony is married with a teenage daughter.
