Dr. Tammy Foster-Knight brings 35 years of comprehensive blue-chip experience in military leadership, human capital development, business development, community service, and post-graduate academia. She spent 23+ years on active Air Force duty, entering in August 1987 as an Airman Basic/E-1. Having served in 10 different locations, including a 7-month deployment to Iraq, Dr. Foster-Knight retired in June 2011 as a Major/O-4, Manpower & Personnel officer. Leonard Casiple is a first-generation American who spent most of his 21-year career in US Army Special Operations as a Psychological Operations Specialist and Green Beret. He wakes up every day energized to help enhance the world. He finds meaning by deconstructing ideas, uncovering blind spots, and by seeking out new knowledge to map out efficient economic, political, and social ecosystems. His experience includes linguistics, area and cultural studies, strategic planning, operations, and crisis management, cross-regional logistics, and strategic community outreach.
Daniel Garcia Payne was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He has been married 46 years to Mary Lynn Payne and they have two daughters Rachel and Rebecca. Daniel enlisted in the Marines on the 19th of July 1973. He had the intention of only doing 4 years then getting out and using the GI bill for college. He qualified for electronics school upon completion of boot camp and became a Missile Technician with a guided missile system. At the end of his enlistment, he was offered a re-enlistment bonus to re-enlist for another four years. Daniel took advantage of the offer and remained in the Marines for another four years. At the end of that time, he was offered another re-enlistment bonus and again re-enlisted. By this time consideration of making the Marines was discussed with his wife. He stayed in and put in for an Officers program. He was a single selection in his whole field with over two thousand applicants.
Retired from the Marine Corps after 21 years of active-duty service and continued service as a federal government civilian. Current position is Senior Cyber Security Analyst for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in support of USAREUR in Wiesbaden Germany.
Marilyn Jackson is a USAF Veteran (Electronic Crypto), Military Spouse (Army), and DoD Employee (Network Ops & Security & Intel) and is currently, CEO of Undergrad Technologies, a Digital Technology and Engineering firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Marilyn has spent over two decades in senior-level assignments innovating and ushering Fortune 500 companies into the Digital Age. Before founding Undergrid Technologies, Marilyn was one of the leaders of Verizon Innovation Vertical Team, the forward-looking Think Tank for new digital products and services.
