Frank was born in Okinawa, Japan in 1955 and was a military brat. Frank’s dad was a southern boy from North Carolina, who joined the Merchant Marines at age 15. At the age of 17, his dad joined the Army where he met Frank’s mother, Elizabeth, when he was stationed in the Philippines. At that time, Frank’s mother was a single mom, raising a son from a previous marriage, with the support of her family.

Frank’s dad married his mother and committed to raising her son as his own. His parents eventually grew their family and had three more kids, including Frank’s hearing-impaired sister. In the early 1960s, his parents were, what today is considered, a modern family. They came from different cultural backgrounds, his mother had a son from a previous marriage, they had a daughter with a disability, and they both had very successful careers.

His father moved through the military ranks from a private to Lt.Col with a master. During his career, before his death, where he was buried at Arlington with full military honor, he was awarded two Silver Stars, three Bronze Stars, and three Purple Hearts for gallantry above and beyond against an enemy of the United States.

Frank’s dad supported his wife’s professional goals of becoming a teacher and writer, and his mother went on to earn her three Bachelor's, two Master and a Ph.D. Nothing about Frank’s childhood was typical. Growing up in a family that was always breaking barriers lent itself to providing the kind of life where Frank would continue the trend of taking the road less traveled.

With no formal education, Frank began his Entrepreneurial career in the tech industry, long before the booming industry we know today. In 1996 he forged the path for virtual reality gaming, multiplayer gaming, and software as a service, and founded the parent company that purchased and grew the original social media platform, MySpace.

Frank’s creative passions didn’t stop with one industry. His love for food and fellowship led him to open several restaurants, master bbq, and marinade creations, and establish and grow a family-run catering business. His love of food is only outmatched by his love of competitive strength sports.

This lifelong pursuit of physical strength has been tested on national and global powerlifting stages. Through every windy path on the road less traveled, Frank has done it all with the support of his wife of 37 years, Dorothy, his 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild
