When spirituality and science intersect, a fascinating dance of exploration and understanding begins. Science provides the tools and methodologies for unraveling the mysteries of the universe, while spirituality offers a deeply personal and introspective journey to comprehend our place within it. Chakra Wonders is an organization raising funds to build a holistic/ naturopathic healing resort and is operated solely by its founder Dexter Morton. Dexter has always enjoyed helping people. However, in his early 20s he had his first panic attack and found himself hospitalized due to internal complications. After seeking medical attention and being on medication to no avail he was approached by his father. His father suggested that he begin meditation and practice some of the spiritual teachings that he had been researching. That was the start of Dexter’s spiritual awakening. Shortly thereafter he joined the US Army and set off to learn what he could about the world. Following the Army, Dexter went back to school where he completed his B.S. in Biochemistry at Arizona State University. At some point during his journey amidst the hours of research and study, Dexter realized that he had found the peace he’d been searching for all along. Dexter set aside his then aspiration for a PhD in Neuroscience as well as his career in Medical Laboratory Sciences to begin researching how to build a business that would help and support people during their journey through life. Chakra Wonders was born out of the need to bridge the gap between spiritualists, those who are curious, and people who want to see change within themselves. He currently uses his art and creativity to create products and accessories related to astrology, metaphysics, and spirituality. Dexter’s mission is to build an advanced holistic/ naturopathic resort dedicated to helping people heal their minds, bodies, and spirits.
