When I was growing up, I remember we typically had brewers’ yeast at home as in any other household because where I come from every fridge has it. It’s used to make bread and such things.
I remember my dad would mix it with water and honey and give it to me to drink. I never heard of anyone drinking this, but obviously I trusted my dad so I drank it.
I didn’t think it tasted fantastic but with honey, it wasn’t awful either. Little did I know that years later this is something I would consider a superfood basically after doing research on how freakin’ healthy it is!!!
As a matter of fact at first I didn’t even connect the dots that it’s the same thing, because living in the US, I couldn’t find it in the same form as in Europe, but I finally found the powdered form of it.
And when I started taking it regularly as an adult, I feel like it turned things around for me when it comes to energy, weight, cravings, and just how I felt overall.
I felt like I had more energy, my cravings went away so I was really able to focus on eating when actually hungry and when I need to rather than eating for the sake of eating.
So if you're having memory loss, foggy thinking, thinning hair, if you can't get the weight off, if you feel fatigue all the time, have thyroid issues... listen up! This could be the one thing that can make a big difference!
